A Pachira Aquatica, also known as Guiana Water Chestnut with a plaited stem. It has shiny palmate leaves and eventually grows yellow flowers that open to reveal orange and red hair-like stamens. The tree is cultivated for its edible nuts, which grow in large pods. It symbolises wealth and prosperity and in China is often referred to as a Money Tree.
Care and Maintenance:
-It requires moderate moisture, recommended watering once every two days.
-Partial Shade Conditions
-Topdress organic or Phosphorus and Potassium fertilisers once a month.
